Reading Live Event: Urban Chill

On 17th October There is a live event in Readng. Wayeta will be performing live at Urban Chill, Bridges. Also in the lineup is the fantastic Silqe & Ezra. This event will range from acoustic jazz to rap.

The idea of the event is to have live chilled music.

Wayeta is a highly regarded Jazz/soul/funky musician in the local area who has played in many places including Jazz cafe and Jazz club, De ja Vu (Now Monroes), Global Cafe and more! She will be playing with a highly talented backing band lead by Jim Wade. If you like your jazz covers this is not to be missed. As well as being a highly talented singer Wayeta also has a great sense of humour creating a well rounded highly entertaining performer.

The Lineup of the Quartet is:

Keith Howard – Bass

Jim Wade – Drums. (Magpie & Parrot)

The Wayeta Pilgrim Quartet will be performing at Bridges, 2 Bridge Street, Caversham, Reading, RG4 8AA

About Wayeta

Wayeta ‘Y.B’ Pilgrim began Singing at a young age in church services, concerts and crusades at the Wesleyan Holiness Church, Greenwich, London. Whilst Still in Full-Time Education Wayeta became a Member of the Angelic Voice Choir: When the Choir appeared on ‘People Get Ready’ with the Williams Brothers.

Following her success as a Group and Choir Member in London, Ipswich and Cambridge, Wayeta Began to sing Solo in 1999.

The soulstress has also appeared at:

  • Wolsey Theatre & Ipswich Corn Exchange(2006),
  • Passion TV(2008) As well performing at around Reading, Windsor, London
